Diamond Tree Care & Consulting Inc. has been caring for trees since 1995. We are an established and reputable tree care company, family-owned and operated, and have been in business for over 25 years. We provide private and commercial tree services, as well as serving several municipalities and conservation authorities. We pride ourselves in our efforts towards being leaders in the industry of arboriculture, with an emphasis on safety, and developing and maintaining highly qualified staff.

Your expertise will be utilized everyday to contribute to the daily success of our team. You will work alongside other motivated, passionate, like-minded arborists and groundspersons in various ways to ensure the best work is done for each job.
Primary Job Duties
- Perform all duties related to modern arboricultural practices at a high level
- Ascend and work aloft safely and efficiently in tree canopies of any size
- Utilize SRS and MRS as well as traditional climbing methods
- Competent in spur-assisted hazard tree removal
- Prune trees to International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) pruning standards
- Operate aerial lifts for pruning and tree removal with a high degree of care
- Knowledgeable and apt at technical rigging for large limb and tree removal
- Capable of performing aerial rescues
- Install static and dynamic cabling and bracing systems
- Display safe work practices and the proper use of PPE to work in a safe environment
- Able to work well with others and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and clients
Qualifications Required
- Minimum 4 years experience
- Post-Secondary education related to Arboriculture industry
- Excellent client communication and customer service skills
- Knowledgeable and capable in modern arboriculture practices and climbing techniques
- Can safely operate aerial lifts, brush chippers, stumpers, and chainsaws
- A valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract
- Working at Heights, WHMIS and First Aid Certification
Education/Assets/Other
- ISA Certified Arborist or Ontario Certified Arborist 444A an asset
- 0-8 tonne crane competency certificate an asset
- Utility Arborist 444B an asset
- IHSA Line Clearing Safety and Awareness an asset
- D license with a Z endorsement preferred

We're looking for great people who have a couple of years of experience, who are looking to develop and excel as an arborist to join our team
